Elmet Technologies, Inc. supplies full lines of lighting components for general and specialty lighting applications in the lighting industry. We produce a wide variety of world-class wire, filaments, and formed metal parts worldwide. Elmet is also the exclusive supplier of Philips Lighting lamp components.
Tungsten and molybdenum play an important role in today’s state-of-the-art medical equipment. Elmet has significant experience in developing and manufacturing key components for equipment for a variety of devices, including x-ray tubes, collimators, and CT equipment. We have also co-developed and manufactured next-generation sub-assemblies at our clean room manufacturing center.
Elmet manufactures components for OEM and aftermarket equipment in various phases of semiconductor manufacturing, with experience and expertise in ion implantation, crystal growing, and lithography processes.
Elmet’s tungsten and molybdenum components are found in the latest generation electronic devices, including flat panel displays, digital video recorders, GPS units, digital music players, and many more. Our components are also used extensively in the electronics industry in a wide variety of standard electronic devices.
The extreme melting points of tungsten and molybdenum have made them preferred high performance materials for vacuum and other high temperature furnaces. Elmet supplies elements, shielding, racks, fixtures, boats, and sleds, along with mill products needed for furnace assembly or rebuilds such as threaded rod and hex nuts. Standard mill products are always in stock and ready for immediate delivery, either from our manufacturing center in Lewiston, Maine, or our warehouse in Upland, California. Special designs are manufactured with highly competitive lead times on a make-to-order basis. As always, our technical staff is available to help develop new products or optimize existing designs.
