Elmet Technologies is honored to announce our strong support of the Maine Hire-A-Vet Campaign. Recently, we received a letter of appreciation from the State of Maine for our participation. 

We would like to take this opportunity to endorse Maine’s Hire-A-Vet Campaign and spread the word about the incredible efforts put forth by this Department of Labor initiative. 

After a challenging year in 2020, the focus to strengthen Maine’s Veteran workforce is now more important than ever. Through a combined effort, we found new and innovative ways to address workforce needs, as we remain deeply committed to this foundation. 

Elmet Technologies looks forward to the continued success of the Maine Hire-A-Vet Campaign. 

We also wish to extend gratitude to all our fellow Maine businesses who support this exceptional program. We also want to thank the State of Maine Department of Labor for their willingness, support, and adaptability. 

About Maine Hire-A-Vet Campaign

Since 2015, the Maine Department of Labor-Bureau of Employment Services Veterans Team, along with key partners, has been proud to facilitate the connection of 1,500 veteran jobseekers with over 900 great Maine employers! It has been recognized as a best practice by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) and the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA).

Each year, the campaign hosts an annual kick-off event. This year’s event is scheduled for August 26, 2021. Mark your calendars!
