Pure Tungsten
Our manufacturing process begins with metal powder production through the reduction of tungsten oxide to produce high-purity tungsten metal powder. We then utilize powder metallurgy processes to press and sinter ingots, then roll, swage and draw the metal into fully-dense flat, or round mill products. From rod, sheet, plate, foil, wire and beyond – our products are either sold or used to feed our industry-leading fabrication & machining services.

Tungsten Heavy Alloy (WHA)
Elmet’s capabilities with Tungsten Heavy Alloy (WHA) materials continue to grow, along with our inventory of standard WHA sizes and molds. Our standard WHA parts include: blocks, rods (sintered & swaged), plate, sheet, as well as various other forms and finished parts. Elmet Technologies’ manufacturing and machining capabilities allow us to offer Tungsten Heavy Alloy in ASTM B777 Class 1, 2, 3, and 4.
