Elmet Technologies manufactures tungsten heavy alloy spheres, with its own manufacturing cell dedicated to state-of-the-art tungsten product development. As the sole U.S. owned and fully-integrated producer of tungsten products, we recently launched our dedicated manufacturing cell for various fragmentation products, including tungsten heavy alloy spheres and cubes, among other parts. Investment and development of this state-of-the-art cell was in direct response to needs we saw from leading Prime contractors stemming from weakened U.S. industrial base capabilities. Elmet has a growing focus on supporting the U.S. defense market. We support the DoD with advanced products, such as KEP, balance weights, and tungsten heavy alloy spheres. Uniquely, Elmet is the only United States based and owned supplier that produces 100% of its pure tungsten powder. It all happens right here at our facility in Lewiston, Maine, USA.
